It’s a New Year and you wake up one morning and realize that it’s time to get down to business.
Now it’s time to decide how you’re going to prepare yourself for your upcoming races. In order to get the most out of the precious time you set aside to train let’s start with these basic steps.

-Validate your FTP
-Test and set aerobic the Benchmarks you will be racing at
-Set target dates with goals
-Build a plan based on 1 primary goal

increase sustainable aerobic power and speed
To do this you’ll need to:
-improve aerobic efficiency
-raise FTP
-increase power to weight
-improve mechanical efficiency
Exercise make you healthier but training makes you faster.
By creating a plan, benchmarking strategic markers, creating training sessions and measuring the adaptation they cause, you will move towards a targeted goal.

If this sounds too complicated to do yourself, then get a coach that has an analytical skill set and applies it to continuous improvement methodology.
